Molti di voi avranno letto ieri sul Corriere.it, l’articolo sul (presunto) nuovo fenomeno della rete: VideoMarta.com.
VideoMarta, a lezioni di Internet sul blog. E la 19enne torinese diventa web-celebrity.
Dopo l’enorme successo online (tre milioni di contatti) la giovane esperta informatica debutta in tv su «Yks».
Caspita, mi sono detto, questa si è una che ha capito tutto dalla vita! Deve essere davvero in gamba per riuscire a fare 3 milioni di contatti in poco tempo ed addirittura arrivare fino alla TV.
Lo stupore nasceva sopratutto dal fatto che avevo già visto qualcuno dei suoi video ed, onestamente, a parte la semplicità di linguaggio (molto adatto ai principianti del settore, i cosiddetti newbies) non è che mi avesse colpito più di tanto.
Da dove viene, quindi, tutto questo successo? E qui casca l’asino.
Sono andato a guardarmi il canale di YouTube dedicato a lei e mi sono accorto che i tanto osannati 3 milioni di contatti non sono altro che una somma approssimata (per eccesso) di tutti quegli utenti che hanno visto i suoi (fin qui) 47 video.
Certo un seguito di pubblico sembra avercelo (ad oggi conta più di 700 feed), ma se andiamo a vedere i commenti nei singoli post, tranne qualche eccezione, non superano i 10/15 commenti. Un pò pochini per annunciare la nascita di una nuova stella del web.
Probabilmente il marketing ha fatto il suo lavoro. Magari gli stessi di “Yks“, hanno messo in moto questa campagna mediatica per cavalcare l’onda della novità e pubblicizzarsi a loro volta.
A parte il Corriere.it e LaStampa.it, nessun altra testata giornalistica ha dato rilievo alla notizia: come mai?
Che sia chiaro, niente di personale contro VideoMarta. Anzi, è la dimostrazione che basta veramente poco per avere successo nel web.
E, ancora meno, per accorgersi che era tutto un sogno.
Voi cosa ne pensate? E’ solo marketing, o è davvero da considerare una web-celebrity?
